Frequently asked questions

The Calotti® rotating spatula is available for the Thermomix® models TM7®, TM6®, TM5® and TM31®, and in a separate version for the Monsieur Cuisine® Connect, Connect Trend and Smart. Kitchen appliances from other manufacturers differ in the shape of the mixing bowl and its blades, so our rotating spatula cannot be used universally.

There is a separate Calotti® rotating spatula for the Monsieur Cuisine® – suitable for Connect, Connect Trend and Smart.

The Calotti® rotating spatula was not developed specifically for right- or left-handers. The design is based on technical conditions: the orientation of the rotating spatula follows the orientation of the blades in the mixing bowl and therefore runs clockwise.

If the rotating spatula were oriented anticlockwise, it would work against the blades. This would make it harder to use and would also repeatedly cause damage on contact with the blades.

With a little practice, the Calotti® rotating spatula can be turned clockwise with the left hand and is therefore also suitable for left-handers!

Unfortunately, there are several counterfeits of our product on the market. They are mostly offered by dubious sellers. Rotating spatulas “made in China” are never originals. We advise against buying and using such counterfeits: the necessary requirements for food contact are not met, and there is a risk to your health!
